Trend Catcher
As representatives of Nomadic life-styles we always celebrate the intrinsic value of enjoying new openings and the latest trendy experiences around the globe.
In every new destination we search for an Avant Garde spaces that are emerging and setting new trends.
In these unprecedented nostalgic times of travel-restrictions we start to look into our own capacity to learn and share knowledge - to recreate the spirit of adventures within our glamourous home settings.
There is an importance to create our own sanctuaries that would allow us to relax and spend time “cocooning” - which we could treasure as much as our spontaneous travelling times.
More than ever textural surfaces and inspiring Art will lift the spirit of each space.
Change of perspective from a dynamic life to a more passive lifestyle will influence our aesthetic and will allow us to redesign our surroundings too.
Changing to warmer tones and more indulging upholstery will allow us to create a comfortable, welcoming feeling, but the most exciting journey would be to change a narrative of existing space.
If we spend more time in our environment, how can we recreate space that doesn’t make us feel bored - but creates dynamic fluidity and adds a bit of enigma.
Static space planning, not enough light and open-air spaces will need to be addressed first. But the most important part is how to evoke a sense of beauty and inspire our everyday life. We want to be comfortable as much as inspired. It’s time to invest in objects that will bring us authentic joy .
Time to dream big and allow our imagination to go wild - not restricted by any limitations in space and time.
Sustainability
Would you agree it’s time to rethink the pre established functions of home?
We all realize that a daily dose of Nature can’t be easily substituted.
We are talking about nature-based design language where: organic shapes , natural materials, creative space planning, maximizing best views, and natural light exposures becomes essential. The value of having green spaces for the sake of our physical and mental health is out of discussion. So what are the alternative ways for those who have limited terraces and views? Let’s think of green areas around alternative spaces to make sure it’s easy to maintain and enjoy the view.
Workspaces and home offices are part of most home realities now - can we achieve the desired results by thinking creatively about home as a multifunction space, surrounded by materials that transmit us quality and serenity?
Orientation of green spaces and options to have open vistas are reinforced by interiors that allow multi-functionality during different moments in the day.
Arrangement of sitting areas, that combined with organic botanical arrangements, reinforce a laid-back yet energetic atmosphere.
Wall textures that help sound insulation and at the same time add a vivid element of nature – while bolder patterns help to add a sense of wonder. Lighting could help to add blue, emerald green and sunshine yellow tones with slight reflections of new tropical breezy vibes.
The question of sustainability is not necessarily about adding new elements in sustainable materials, but working and recycling existing spaces , dressing them for new occasions !
Materials We Love
As designers we are thrilled to start projects with materials research - and it is not only in response to the clients brief. The main reason is the absolute fascination with the intrinsic properties of old and new materials.
There is constant experimentation with material applications and the most important is the fusion and combination of those that create surprising effects.
After years of experience we can confirm how materials and different finishes can totally transform spatial solutions. Some materials can change the way we see the space, the way we perceive it, and how it makes us feel and interact with it. Exploring innovative solutions in ceramics, glass, metal, fabrics , etc.
Our extensive material library is based on research, design and builds over years - working with product designers, lighting designers and R&D of big brands - in search of versatility that breaks the monotony of choosing the same solutions.
